Haloxyl Review: How effective is this product?

The company Sederma produces the substance Haloxyl. They are a well-established manufacturer that also makes a commonly used anti-aging product called Matrixyl as well as a number of other skin care treatments.Information about Haloxyl can be hard to find on the internet as there is no official website, but a reasonable amount can be found on certain skin care information sites. Clinical information and studies are published on many information sites, some which also include before and after photos. Haloxyl can be purchased on its own at a cost of approximately $16.95 for 4 oz but most consumers would normally purchase it blended into another formula.

Ingredients contained in this product

Product Features

Haloxyl

The product information for Haloxyl lists water, Glycerin, Steareth-20, Hydroxysuccinimide, Chrysin, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 as its ingredients, but there is no explanation as to what they do. A synthetic blend, Haloxyl is designed to reduce the appearance of red veins and undereye darkness caused by pigmentation in the skin and broken capillaries. In addition to improving the color of the skin, Haloxyl has also proved successful in increasing the density of the normally delicate area and helping the body eliminate pigment.

Haloxyl is usually blended with other anti-aging substances and moisturizing ingredients and it should be included at an amount of 2%.

Disadvantages

  • Clinical studies are shown
  • All ingredients are listed
  • Haloxyl is patented
  • Haloxyl is inexpensive
  • The manufacturer is well-established

Disadvantages

  • Haloxyl is a synthetic product
  • It does not moisturize
  • There is no official website

Conclusion

The addition of Haloxyl in an anti-aging cream is very beneficial particularly if hyper pigmentation and dark circles are a problem. However, it must be included in its optimal amount for it to be effective so it would be the consumer’s responsibility to ensure that it is in any product they purchased.
