Question: I just turned 35 this year, and I’m starting to notice dark circles forming under my eyes. A friend of mine suggested a product called Dermalex-MD that’s supposed to address the condition. Is this true?
Answer: Yes. The product, Dermalex-MD, is supposed to strengthen capillaries and thicken the skin to directly correct the appearance of dark circles. The product page explains that dark circles are caused by an array of different factors such as allergies, sun exposure, and genetics. They claim the condition is caused by oxidation of blood under a layer of skin in that area.
Many of the ingredients listed on the product page are commonly used in other under eye formulations. The Dermalex-MD formula is supposedly based upon many years of research by dermatologists. The product page does not list a manufacturer nor a producer, however.
If you do shop for an anti-wrinkle product in a health store, pharmacy or on the Internet, you’ll often find hundreds of different brands containing a confusing array of ingredients. You may be tempted to experiment with different products until you find one that works. But this approach may be expensive. More importantly, not all products contain the quality and quantity of necessary ingredients to positively diminish the appearance of dark circles, puffiness, and eye bags while promoting younger looking eyes. That’s why you’ll need to do a little bit of research to find the best, most potent brand for your needs.
